There have been some rumblings in the cannabis community about Thai growers being out of inventory and buds being illegally imported in from Laos to meet demand.

It's difficult to say how much truth there is to those rumors but it has been rather impressive how Thailand went from a very underground cannabis community to buds being sold at Tesco-Lotus in just a little over a month's time.

With over a million people registered to grow and many large scale grow operations getting off the ground, the supply of cannabis should rebound in the coming months. Hopefully lower prices will follow.

It's been difficult not to notice that many new grow supply shops have been popping up on Lazada, Shopee, and Facebook.

If you're in the market for grow lights you'll have to be quick to act as many shops are sold out of starter setups like Spider Farmer SF and Mars Hydro TS series of lighting.

The subreddit's wiki has been growing like crazy. We already have 116 dispensaries listed across Thailand and an additional 27 online shops.

Your tips on resources that might be of interest to the cannabis community here in Thailand are always welcome.

Are Thai indoor growers using toxic sprays? — www.reddit.com

In California and elsewhere, prior to legalization/state regulation, it became a huge problem that indoor growers with no ethics and lacking in pest management skills would immediately resort to toxic insecticides and pesticides meant only for ornamental crops when they'd get spider mite infestations and fungus problems. They were psychopaths who didn't care who they caused cancer for or made sick, as long as they got to sell their crop.

Is it possible this is happening in Thailand also? Is anyone here on the inside at grow facilities and can speak to this question? Being a much older and much more agrarian society, my hope is that Thai growers are better than this, but people do crazy things when there's lots of money on the line and toxic/nuclear options are available... I mean frankly, the word is that there is already a huge pesticide problem in the fruit and vegetable growing sector, so that's one reason I ask.
