This was another slow week in terms of cannabis news.

Singapore's Home Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam came out hard this week saying that he felt Singapore's death penalty for drug trafficking was appropriate.

HiSoSoiDog figured he would test the waters with people in Singapore to find out if they feel the same way and stumbled across a thread which seems to indicate that many Singaporeans have no problem with the death penalty for drug trafficking.

In less dramatic news, last week's poll results are in and, believe it or not, you guys like smoking weed.

35.4% of you like to get high multiple times per day, 26.5% get high daily, and 16.5% of you get high several times per week. The big surprise was that 10.7% of y'all get high less than monthly.

This week's poll asks how you like to smoke. Voting is still open.

I was going to post a question on r/singapore asking for opinions on the minister's statements, then I found this thread:

The topic is generating comments and it's interesting to read some of the replies. As it stands now, Thailand is still a relatively far-away country with whatever reputation it enjoys in SG, but if Malaysia decrims/legalizes this topic will draw a lot more heat among S'poreans.
