Sawadee Everyone,

The Bong Rip Scandal, Bongate, or whatever you want to call it, continued last week. It looks like the anti-cannabis people are scoring some points in the media by exploiting this isolated incident.

Minister of Public Health Anutin was forced to backpedal a bit this week and address accusations that he was trying to shift blame for the boys smoking weed onto other agencies.

To a certain degree both sides are right.

Anutin is indeed trying to shift blame by asking where the boys got the money to buy weed and a bong and why the kids were on the streets to begin with.

And, at the same time, those are perfectly valid questions that should be answered.

But probably a more relevant question would be, if cannabis is so dangerous, why are there so few incidents involving cannabis in the six months since legalization?

The average price of cannabis in Thailand in the last month has been ฿632 and ฿648 over the last week. 

We currently track 84 dispensaries and have collected 4408 prices for 1102 cannabis strains.

Brick - What's The Cost Near You? — www.reddit.com

So I'm a fan of the old brick. When I was here back in 2018 I remember it being quite expensive and very brown / low quality. Although I probably got tricked as a tourist 🤣

Now I've found it ranging from 50-100b/g around and about. But, I wanna know if these are good deals or not. The brick itself is nice and green, decent smell, gets me baked and personally I think 50b/g is cracking, but I wonder if I'm paying over the odds? The quality seems so much better than when I was here last and I'm keen to know if i should stock up here or if I'll find similar prices elsewhere.

Whats the cost per g of brick near you now? Feel free to expand and let me know where if you're willing ❤️

Also on a side note, if anyone knows what it's going for on Phangan I'd be interested to know before Christmas 🤣

Just been noticing the growth with the side of tourism has made cannabis grow fast maybe a little too fast.

Dispensaries focused on just milking $$$

Prices somewhat don’t justify but for the first time I’m wondering other than regulation how does the community play a part to make it sustainable and portray cannabis not just as a tool to make more $$$

Bangkok 3 months ago and where it is now it terms of how much money is being invested both local and foreign is starting to scare how the future is going to shape.

It’s beautiful but chaotic but can get ugly if just done for the money.

Still love the community who grows and shares themselves rather than dispensaries pushing their loot down your throat at thier will.
